Taking into account the fact of rather stable and unchanging number of our association members it is important that the needs and expectations of existing members are met on the qualitative level. ODEC decided to gather complete information on needs and expectations of the technicians with the help of surveys. GOA-WorkBench® was selected as the survey tool and it proved to be easy and efficient in use.

Excellence Implementation

Swiss Technicians Association carried out a multi-language survey among its members to analyse and meet their needs in a qualitative way. The  GOA-WorkBench® tool allowed to adapt the pre-defined questions to the organisations needs and the survey was published online for easier access and further data gatehering. The whole process from survey concept design till data analysis took 3 months which was a tough period, but it delivered the requested results.

Achievements and Continuous Improvement

ODEC emphasysis the easy and intuitive software use and its flexibility regarding survey adaptation to the needs of the Association. In addition, the use of electronic data analysis saved a lot of time, as the manual work has been replaced with automatic data summary. The results gathered with the help of the survey additionally allowed to involve the association’s members in the central and regional Board.
